Since 2020,

$30,000 raised for Venezuelans in crisis

“Si no vives para servir, no sirves para vivir”

“If you don’t live to serve, then you don’t deserve to live.”

The Motto.

On an uncharacteristically cold and rainy day in Merida, Venezuela, I came across this age-old quote graffitied on a deteriorating pastel-colored wall. Translated it means “If you don’t live to serve, you don’t deserve to live.” The power of that quote in that moment, in that setting, has stuck with me ever since.

The Mission.

Herman@s seeks to alleviate food insecurity, poverty, and lack of medical supplies to vulnerable communities in Venezuela by creating pathways of economic development through crowdfunding.

The Vision.

We envision a prosperous Venezuela where no child goes hungry, and no one perishes due to malnutrition. By building relationships with people and businesses in affected areas, Herman@s is able to make measured impacts in small communities that create opportunities for upward mobility.

The Method.

Every week on Thursday - Sunday I stream on Twitch, YouTube, and /or Patreon. Whether flying the “HermanosVA” banner, solving interesting problems, or discovering new things, viewers donate through the channel or become patrons, funding our efforts of providing meals and sustainable farming solutions to people on the ground.

The Oath.

Anyone who joins the Hermandad must take a pledge of service, never putting themselves before anyone else. Our community is 100% crowdfunded and powered by people who want to realize change — not make money.

The Channels.

Tune into one of our featured live events Thursdays and Sundays primarily on Youtube, Fridays and Saturdays primarily on Twitch. See the livestreams in action, join in, comment, or have a conversation about where we see the organization going in the future! We’d love to see you!
